The Power of Human Potential

Our work consistently demonstrates that the greatest opportunities for business gains come from the people who work there. They are all unique and possess the knowledge and power to direct themselves to their highest potential if the right conditions for growth exist. It requires an ongoing commitment to know yourself. It is the only way that you can understand and accept your own complexity and the number of things that influence your behaviors.

Influences include everything you have seen, heard, experienced, read, watched, thought you heard, etc. In other words, everything that gives your life context, include those things that you are aware of as well as those you are not that reside in your unconscious. If that isn’t enough, you are also influenced by all those things that are in the collective unconscious of our society and culture. In fact, your unconscious is your best guide when you find that your past behaviors are no longer serving your best interest and your life begins to feel unsettled. Pathways between your conscious and unconscious can open to help you discover your authentic self and the source of those of those limiting messages. Our job is to create a safe space for you to explore all those messages, experiences, observations, etc that make you who you are.

Remember, everything you learned, read, watched, heard, thought you heard, experienced, etc. is a part of you. They combine to establish your boundaries. Inside the boundary line is all you know and have experienced. Outside the boundary line is all your potential. Potential is like infinity, it can be defined but never fully experienced. It is unlimited.

When helping people know themselves, we are asking them to understand the influences in their life so they can explore their human potential by stepping over their boundaries and into what is unknown to them. Each small step over a boundary causes that boundary to expand to encompass that which is no longer just potential since it is now an experience. With a commitment to continual improvement their goal is to try to expand their boundaries a little every day by stepping up to the boarder and putting one foot over the line. Make yourself uncomfortable and try something new.

Some of the experiences inside your boundaries have undoubtedly created negative messages in either your conscious or unconscious. Negative messages cause discomfort and discomfort triggers a fight or flee response from the amygdala portion of your brain. These responses are driven by emotions unless they are tempered by rational cognitive thoughts from our frontal lobes. Your goal is to learn to have good cognitive responses, untainted by emotions.

In our life changing Maximizing Human Potential workshops, we help you maximize your potential by developing a deeper understanding of yourself through the exploration of conscious and unconscious messages that influence your behaviors, limiting your growth and creativity, and ability to make meaningful connections. You will also learn how the brain functions, what an Amygdala Hijack is, and ways to use science to fight burnout and enhance innovation.
